GEOTECHNICAL

ENGINEERING

Geotechnical Engineering involves exploring subsurface soil, bedrock, and groundwater conditions and based on the conditions encountered, providing design recommendations for shallow spread footing foundations, deep piled foundations, anchors, slabs/rafts, slopes, retaining walls, embankments, and construction materials. Construction materials testing is the sampling and testing of soil, bedrock, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt to assess conformance with project requirements.

These services can benefit projects ranging from land development, roadways, utilities, buildings, retaining walls, bridges, wharves, tanks, lagoons, and landfills.

Our Geotechnical engineering department offers:

  • Geotechnical investigations

  • Geotechnical design/analyses

  • Construction monitoring

  • Materials testing quality assurance/control services

  • Pile Installation Monitoring and Dynamic Pile Load Testing using Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA)
